General conditions, governing law & Liability

‘bizpot.lk’ is operated under the laws and regulations of Sri Lanka. ‘bizpot.lk’ reserves the authority modify terms and conditions and shall be effective upon immediately posting on bizpot.lk. Users hold the responsibility to review modifications posted. Your access to bizpot.lk will be considered as your acceptance to modified terms and conditions.

Advertiser/ Profile Creator is responsible to prevent his/her account from unauthorized access, keeping passwords confidential & should inform bizpot.lk ASAP if any unauthorized access noticed. Advertiser is also solely responsible to review and monitor his/her account from unauthorized activities.

In no event do we accept liability of any description for the posting of any unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene or indecent information, or material of any kind which violates or infringes upon the rights of any other person, including without limitation any transmissions constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law.

You acknowledge that we cannot guarantee continuous, error-free or secure access to our services or those defects in the service will be corrected. While we will use upmost yet reasonable efforts to maintain an uninterrupted service, we cannot guarantee this and we do not give any promises or warranties (whether express or implied) about the operation and availability of our sites, services, applications or tools.

Termination of membership/profiles/contents

bizpot.lk community work together to keep bizpot.lk working properly and the community safe. Please report problems, offensive content and policy breaches to us directly.

Without limiting other remedies, we may issue warnings, limit or terminate our service, remove hosted content and take technical and legal steps to keep users off bizpot.lk if we think that they are creating problems, infringing the rights of third parties or acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of our policies (including, without limitation, circumventing temporary or permanent suspensions or harassing the bizpot.lk employees or other users). However, whether we decide to take any of these steps, remove hosted content or keep a user off bizpot.lk or not, we do not have any obligation to monitor the information transmitted or stored on bizpot.lk and we do not accept any liability for unauthorized or unlawful content on bizpot.lk or use of bizpot.lk by users.

Your membership/business profile will be terminated & removed if you are proven to be guilty for at least one of the following offences.

• violate the Policies;
• post any threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene or indecent material;
• post or otherwise communicate any false or misleading material or message of any kind;
• infringe any third-party right;
• distribute spam, chain letters, or promote pyramid schemes;
• distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm bizpot.lk or the interests or property of bizpot.lk users;
• impose or contribute to imposing an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interfere with the proper working of bizpot.lk;
• copy, modify, or distribute any other person's content without their consent;
• use any robot spider, scraper or other automated means to access bizpot.lk and collect content for any purpose without our express written permission;
• harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent;
• copy, modify or distribute rights or content from bizpot.lk or bizpot.lk’s copyrights and trademarks;
• lk highly rejects profiles about massage centers, pet sellers, alcoholic promotions and fake job offering profiles.

• use any tool that interferes with the normal functioning of bizpot.lk, including, without limitation, browser plug-ins, extensions, or other software which are designed to supplement, remove or otherwise change any of bizpot.lk’s functionalities; or
• Sell any counterfeit items or otherwise infringe the copyright, trademark or other rights of third parties.

You are solely responsible for all information that you submit to bizpot.lk and any consequences that may result from your post. We reserve the right at our discretion to refuse or delete content that we believe is inappropriate or breaching the above terms without any prior notice. We also reserve the right at our discretion to restrict a user's usage of bizpot.lk either temporarily or permanently, or refuse a user's registration without any prior notice. If we believe that you are breaching these Terms of Use in any way and/or behaving suspiciously on bizpot.lk, we may, at our discretion, inform other bizpot.lk users that have been in contact with you and recommend that they exercise caution.

Paid contents & services

Contents and services provided by bizpot.lk shall require payments and vouchers will not be accepted. Paid content services will be done through a third party online payments service provider governed by its own rules and regulations. Hence bizpot.lk doesn’t hold any authority regarding payments & payment related information and also does not obliged to refund any payment under any circumstance. Please note that our system will send a reminder to you via an email or by SMS before the expiration of your profile at the end of the selected time period and if you wish you can manually renew your profile by paying or our subscription system will automatically renew the payment by your card.

Bizpot.lk takes security very seriously and has taken maximum efforts to ensure the highest security for our Consumers. Payments and all network communications between the end-users & bizpot.lk are encrypted & secured over an SSL layer, certified by an EV SSL Digital Certificate that provides the highest available digital authentication by our payment gateway service supplier. Bizpot.lk do not store any card details, CVV2 numbers or any other details linked to online transactions through bizpot.lk.

Bizpot.lk may contain links or references to other websites ('Third Party Websites'). Bizpot.lk shall not be responsible for the contents in Third Party Websites. Third Party Websites are not investigated or monitored. In the event the user decides to leave bizpot.lk and access Third Party Sites, the user does so at his/her own risk.
